I am a pediatric hematologist/oncologist at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. I treat children with cancers and other conditions, including leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors, benign hematology, hemoglobinopathies and blood disorders.

Growing up, I was a curious child who loved the answers that science could provide. With a desire to work with people, I went to medical school and was drawn to caring for pediatric patients. During my pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, I knew I had found my place in medicine.

As a pediatrician, I enjoy the bonds that develop with patients and their families as I support them through challenging times. It is inspiring to see how strong and resilient children and teens can be and witness them overcome illness. There’s nothing better than seeing their smiles when they ring the bell to celebrate their end of treatment.

We are a comprehensive team at Joe DiMaggio, so I can ensure all my patients’ needs are met throughout their treatment and beyond. In addition to providing personalized treatment plans, I ensure no questions go unanswered. I want every family to feel comfortable and confident in the care plans as we are.
